Job Summary:
The Advertising and Brand Specialist III is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing advertising strategies for market positioning of both existing and new health plan products.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure advertising campaigns reflect data-driven insights, market dynamics, strategic enterprise goals, consumer research and brand
- Develop content for acquisition pages of corporate website
- Direct agencies in the creative development of advertising campaign elements; serving as primary contact and approver
- Oversee specific projects as directed by Manager and /or Director
- Responsible for creating and maintaining portfolios of multi-market, multi-product printed sales collateral, including content creation, approval, design, production and distribution
- Ensure all printed materials and advertising are accurate and meet rigorous internal, state and federal regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Develop schedules and timelines for multiple product lines and ensure all advertising and sales materials are launched on schedule
- Lead white space strategy to support strategic priorities of enterprise and market leadership by identifying and supporting creative opportunities to drive member acquisition and brand awareness
- Identify gaps and develop new processes and procedures to ensure accuracy, meet deadlines and achieve membership goals
- Utilizing consultative methods, develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Provide training and guidance on department processes and procedures to new team members
- Create and implement process improvement efforts
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or related field or equivalent work experience is required
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing/communications; healthcare marketing experience is preferred
- 3 years of professional writing experience preferred
Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage numerous projects in a highly regulated, fast-paced environment
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience using visual software including PowerPoint
- Strong project management and process skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Develop subject matter expertize in the state, federal and internal regulations that govern insurance advertising activities across multiple products and markets
- Working knowledge of WordPress CMS, CRM, UX / UI, web design, SEO, SEM preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and with diverse teams in a matrix environment
- Team and customer oriented
- Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously

Compensation Range:
$61,500.00 - $98,400.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
