Workplace Culture
Strategies

CareSource's multi-pronged approach to advancing a culture of belonging for everyone involves stakeholders at every level of our company.

This responsibility belongs to everyone and is embedded in everything we do across the organization, including all our Talent and Human Resources practices. Our employee-led groups not only strengthen our commitment to creating a sustainable and inclusive culture, but also encourage employee engagement and involvement. These employee-led groups include our:

  • Culture Advocacy Council
  • Employee Resource Groups (ERG)
  • Action Committees
  • Special Interest Groups

Representation

We are committed to building a workforce that reflects a wide range of perspectives and lived experiences at every level. We focus on merit while ensuring our recruiting, hiring and talent development practices are fair and yield the brightest and best employees in every role.

Cultural Competence

To continually elevate our collective cultural competence and civility, we offer learning experiences and courses through a variety of platforms, methodologies and practices.

  • Our cultural competence curriculum and learning experiences are offered to every CareSource employee.
  • Our training framework and curriculum includes courses designed to elevate cultural differences across our organization, with topics that include cultural competence, inclusive language, health equity and more.
  • The journey towards cultural competence and civility for all new hires starts on day one. It spans across their initial 120 days with required courses and continues throughout their employee lifecycle.
