Job Summary:
The Market Clinical & Operations Excellence Educator is responsible for developing training curricula that meets regulatory requirements and aligns with organizational goals, ensuring that staff are equipped with the necessary skills to provide high-quality care. In addition, the Educator reviews and optimizes existing market operation processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the organization, by fostering strategic collaboration among teams.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee new staff orientation in collaboration with CSU and the clinical team
- Partner with clinical leadership to enable continuous improvement and accuracy of content for new staff orientation
- Conduct annual evaluation of new hire training and monthly trainings to ascertain educational needs for present and future
- Research developments in the fields of case management for best practice and incorporate case management state and accreditation requirements into the education and training
- Act as resource for case management/care coordination staff to identify development needs and identify potential solutions
- Identify and address any knowledge or skill gaps by developing and evaluating targeted educational programs to enhance competencies.
- Collaborate with the case management and care coordination teams to identify process gaps and implement improvements
- Serve as a regional liaison to facilitate continuity and enhance clinical practice education
- Maintain records of annual trainings with collaboration from clinical team.
- Maintain e-manuals and quick tools to be used as resources for Care Management/Care Coordinator
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing when updates are made to the electronic medical record system
- Coordinate with the reporting team to collaborate on trends and reporting triggers within the electronic medical record system. Develop & deliver educational materials as necessary
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for new market launches within Integrated Care, defining workflows in accordance with contractual requirements and developing training curricula for new clinical teams
- Offer expertise in navigating the electronic medical record and case management/care coordination processes for regulatory audit presentations
- Participate in the implementation of new business initiatives relevant to the role
- Provide care management insights for new product implementations by leveraging a deep understanding of care management workflows, electronic medical record (EMR) functionalities, and industry best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that new products are effectively integrated into existing care management processes, enhancing operational efficiency and improving patient outcomes
- Support clinical staff with 1:1 review of processes and documentation systems and reinforcing best practices and consistency
- Act as clinical documentation process subject matter expert for multiple markets under the Integrated Care umbrella
- Identify risk areas within operational processes and contribute to the development of process improvement initiatives
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) or Social Work degree program is required
- Advanced degree associated with clinical licensure is preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of Case Management experience is required

Licensure and Certification:
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in state of practice is required
- Case Management certification is preferred

Working Conditions:
- General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Perform reasonable travel, which could include overnight travel, to fulfill the responsibilities of the position
- Flexible hours, including possible evenings
Compensation Range:
$70,800.00 - $113,200.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
