Job Summary:
The Clinical Operations Project Management Specialist is responsible for establishing and maintaining key relationships with Clinical Operations Leadership and external vendors to ensure the successful delivery of Clinical projects, business cases, and process improvement efforts.
Essential Functions:
- Manage small to mid-size standalone initiatives through all phases of the project lifecycle within Clinical Operations
- Partner with Clinical Business Owners to help manage external Clinical Vendors
- Adhere to standard tools, process, and methodology of Clinical Operations
- Maintain strategic alignment of assigned projects by analyzing contracts, RFPs, Policies and Procedures, e-manuals, workflows, SOPs, and any additional documentation that supports CareSource strategy.
- Conduct stakeholder and vendor meetings to establish and execute on detailed schedules and plans
- Ensure milestone deliverables are completed and approved at every stage of the project lifecycle
- Produce detailed reports, business decision documents, meeting minutes, and ongoing communication for all assigned vendors and projects
- Accurately track and report project status against plan to all stakeholders at all levels
- Identify, log, and manage risk, implement mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and communicate/escalate to stakeholders
- Determine and document the impact of change on cross functional processes and collaborate with cross functional teams to mitigate risks of associated changes
- Manage proposal-related deliverables, ensuring critical deadlines and milestones are met
- Integrate continuous improvement and innovation into all projects and enhancements for the assigned business areas
- Participate as a contributing team member in improvement initiative lead by others
- Demonstrate core competency in the assigned business areas
- Maintain project SharePoint site and project document repository
- Perform other duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of relevant experience is required
- A minimum of three (3) years of Project Management experience is required
- Experience working in project management software is preferred
- Familiarity of the healthcare payer industry and knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare is preferred

Licensure and Certification:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
Working Conditions:
- General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Compensation Range:
$70,800.00 - $113,200.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
