New Market Implementation Lead

Job Summary:

The IT New Market Implementation Lead has program management and strategic responsibilities related to driving the delivery of software solutions across the CareSource ecosystem for merger & acquisitions, as well a new and expansion states. This role will collaborate with various teams, including development, testing, and business operations, to ensure the successful delivery of integrated software solutions. This role will also interface with other program managers, Agile leaders, and suppliers to create structure and processes that allow for implementations at scale.

Essential Functions:

  • Work closely with the Data Architecture, Enterprise Program Management Office, Implementation Management Office, and Business Partners, to ensure new state implementations and member integrations are delivered per scope, budget, and quality
  • Help manage how the IT New Market Implementation team and partnering teams work together to complete multi-year strategic and operational plans
  • Help manage continuous improvement initiatives within the IT implementation process, leveraging feedback, lessons learned, and best practices to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and outcomes
  • Research, self-train, and make recommendations regarding IT portfolio management and agile best practices, and tools and techniques that would drive business value
  • Support that all IT implementation activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies, maintaining data privacy, security, and confidentiality
  • Identify potential risks and challenges associated with IT implementation initiatives and develop effective mitigation strategies to address them proactively, minimizing disruption and ensuring project success
  • Communicate regularly with executive IT and business leaders, key stakeholders, providing updates on project status, challenges, and successes. Prepare and present comprehensive reports and presentations to executive leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Support all activities surrounding operating budgets for implementations and ensure forecasts and timekeeping are timely and accurate, and within established budgetary guidelines
  • Drive all aspects of IT implementation projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and monitoring progress against key milestones and deliverables
  • Drive the creation and adoption of workflows and automation to manage multiple implementations
  • Lead any organization change management support functions
  • Partner or create standards for reporting and executive communications
  • Perform any other job-related instructions, as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
  • Master’s degree is preferred
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of IT related experience is required
  • Minimum of five (5) years leadership experience required
  • Experience in a key role within SAFe Agile, such as Product Owner or Scrum Master required
  • Experience in a key role within enterprise large scale agile framework, such as SAFe Agile, Lean, or Kanban, experience is preferred
  • Experience in driving and creating structure and workflows on programs
  • Familiarity of the healthcare payer industry and knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare is preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Project, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel
  • Proficient with Azure Dev Ops, ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams, Power Automate, Power BI

Compensation Range:
$108,600.00 - $190,000.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
