Diversity,
Equity and
Inclusion

At CareSource, we know diversity, equity and inclusion not only strengthen our workforce, but also enable us to shape the future of health care to better serve the needs of our members, health partners and communities.

We are committed to a sustainable, inclusive culture that represents our employee and member populations. We are also dedicated to leveraging our diverse backgrounds, experiences, skills and viewpoints to realize health equity for all our members.

A Message from our CEO and President

Diversity, equity and inclusion is a part of who we are. It’s embedded in our culture and our business. Our strong internal focus on DEI drives our goal to be the employer of choice in health care ... but more importantly, serve our members in the best way possible. Being intentional is what sets us apart.

It is important and valuable to build a workforce that reflects our members – so we did. And will continue to do so. Our employees can serve our communities and members because we focus on the person. This approach – expected of everyone from me to the newest employees – strengthens our ability to design and deliver innovative, bias-free, culturally sensitive products, programs, and services. Our internal experts partner with external organizations to provide assessment and deliver evidence-based strategies to advance our commitment to inclusivity.

CareSource President & CEO, Erhardt Preitauer

We are committed to providing our members a fair and just opportunity to be their best self. Not just today, but every day. And we remain steadfast in our commitment to being anti-racist, anti-bias, anti-sexist, anti-homophobic, anti-ableist and anti-ageist.

To further guide our work and help us in our efforts to embed DEI into everything we do, we focus on three specific categories – workforce, workplace, and community. I encourage you to take a moment to further explore our site and take a deeper look into our commitment and approach to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Erhardt Preitauer, President & CEO
