Enterprise Architect III

Job Summary:

The Enterprise Architect is a highly specialized and senior technical role responsible for shaping the organization’s technology landscape through strategic planning, architectural frameworks, and solution alignment. This role ensures that IT initiatives are scalable, secure, and aligned with long-term business goals and demands deep expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks, emerging technologies, and cross-functional collaboration to design and implement robust solutions that support operational excellence and digital transformation.

Essential Functions:

  • · Initiate and execute the development of detailed architecture blueprints that align with the enterprise architecture roadmap and business strategy
  • · Conduct gap analyses to identify opportunities for technology improvements and innovation
  • · Define and document architecture principles, standards, and best practices for enterprise-wide adoption
  • · Lead and describe in detail the current and target state of the company to the C Level leaders
  • · Design end-to-end conceptual solutions that meet business needs while ensuring interoperability, security, and compliance
  • · Lead technical evaluations of new tools and technologies, providing recommendations for adoption or rejection
  • · Oversee the integration of cloud-native and on-premises solutions into the existing IT ecosystem
  • · Act as a key advisor to IT leadership, translating complex technical concepts into actionable strategies
  • · Lead architecture reviews for major IT projects to ensure alignment with enterprise standards
  • · Collaborate with solution architects and engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of designs
  • · Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, such as AI, IoT, and blockchain, for their potential impact on the business
  • · Create proof-of-concept projects to validate the feasibility of innovative solutions
  • · Monitor industry trends to maintain the organization’s competitive edge in technology adoption
  • · Foster and cultivate open and collaborative lines of communication between the Business and IT
  • · Partner with business leaders to understand strategic goals and translate them into architectural requirements
  • · Primary facilitator for aligning IT and Business strategy in addition to strategic planning activities
  • · Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align IT initiatives with organizational priorities
  • · Serve as a liaison between IT and other departments, ensuring architecture decisions address business objectives
  • · Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:

  • · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience
  • · Ten (10) years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a proven track record of implementing global, multi-cloud strategies in Fortune 500 companies or equivalent, to include five (5) years of experience in a relevant domain is required
  • · Extensive hands-on experience designing hybrid environments with seamless integration of legacy systems and emerging technologies
  • Competencies, Knowledge, and Skills:
  • · Master-level proficiency in multiple enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF, Zachman, and ITIL
  • · Proven ability to lead architecture teams across geographies, managing distributed teams while delivering enterprise-wide technology transformation initiatives
  • · Ability to align architecture with global business strategies across multiple verticals, ensuring scalability and operational efficiency
  • · Ability and skillset to engage C-suite executives to secure buy-in for multi-million-dollar technology investments
  • · Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • · Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance
  • · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • · Ability to design architectures for interoperable healthcare systems supporting standards like FHIR and HL7
  • · Proven track record of implementing emerging technologies, such as blockchain for secure transaction systems or IoT for predictive maintenance in industrial settings

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Compensation Range:
$110,800.00 - $193,800.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
