Director, Human Resources (IT Focus)- Hybrid

Job Summary:

The Director, Human Resources is responsible for leading and providing influential guidance/oversight of HR Business Partners in providing comprehensive, proactive, strategic HR business partner approach.  Understand the needs of business groups and focus on talent and succession planning, employee engagement and strategic organizational design. Partner with internal HR Centers of Excellence to ensure value added strategies are offered to help prepare the business for future growth.

Essential Functions:

  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and processes.
  • Collaborate with client groups to learn the business, understand the issues facing management teams and employees and develop action plans to address those issues.
  • Mentor HR staff by modeling the behavior of anticipating and diffusing employee relations issues by proactively investigating and addressing all disputes in a timely manner, providing satisfactory resolutions, and documenting appropriately
  • Lead talent review strategy sessions to ensure accurate assessment of talent and partner with leaders to ensure effective development plans are created and executed.
  • Work with leaders to develop succession plans and ensure identified employees are included in development programs and growth opportunities.
  • Advocate company culture and promote employee engagement activities and action planning to respond to engagement results.
  • Partner with the business to evaluate organizational structures and ensure teams are optimized and prepared for future growth opportunities.
  • Create meaningful relationships to provide strategic and influential insights with business partners and leaders to move talent and organizational strategies forward.
  • Champion for HR strategies including goal planning, performance reviews and merit processes and assist leaders with adopting and executing new programs.
  • Identify leadership training needs, partnering with Talent Development strategy team to provide insights.
  • Manage trends and analyze HR metrics to make strategic recommendations to the business and HR Centers of Excellence (COE).
  • Cross functional coloration with HR COEs to recommend meaningful, value-added initiatives for our employees and leaders.
  • Ensure that CareSource is 100% compliant with federal and state employment law in all its practices
  • Perform any other job-related instructions, as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in human resources or management or equivalent years of relevant work experience required
  • Master’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant experience preferred
  • Seven to ten years of experience in Human Resources with at least five (5) years of experience in a strategic HR Business Partner role is required
  • Five to seven years of people management experience, preferably in Human Resources, is required

Licensure and Certification:

Compensation Range:
$125,300.00 - $219,300.00
