Connection Driven Onboarding
The onboarding experience helps build connection to our organization, people and individual roles. During the first 90 days, we focus on welcoming and integrating employees into our culture. Employees will understand what makes CareSource special and be equipped with knowledge, tools and resources to be successful. Onboarding is unique to each business function and job role and includes:
- Virtual organizational orientation
- Foundational learning curriculum on organizational policies and procedures
- Team integration and clarification of role, responsibilities and goals
- Connection to team members, key collaborators and other contacts
- Department-specific training on team processes and core tasks
Empowering Leaders
We recognize effective leadership requires more than technical expertise—it demands vision, emotional intelligence and adaptability. Our Leadership Development programs are designed to equip current and aspiring leaders with tools and skills they need to excel. Some examples of our leadership development opportunities include:
- New leader onboarding for new to CareSource and newly promoted internal leaders
- One-on-one leadership coaching for new senior leaders
- Strength-based and strategy-focused coaching by ICF-certified coaches
- Cohort based leadership development programs
- Open learning courses cultivating leadership competencies and skills
- Lunch and learns on common management topics like performance management and leave accommodation

Promoting development and growth of all employees is critical to advance the CareSource mission. We invest in our employees by supporting individual development plans and creating pathways to help achieve professional goals. Learning and continuous improvement is the responsibility of everyone at CareSource, and we have many teams creating a variety of learning experiences in which you can participate.

Focuses on critical topics that keep us fresh on policies and compliance, as well as learning aligned to our core competencies.

On-Demand Learning
Provides access to hundreds of on-demand learning sessions through our learning management system, employee assistance program and wellness platform, among others. Employees and leaders can explore many different topics from active listening or giving feedback to meditation and improving sleep for wellbeing.

Offer opportunities to engage in collaborative learning for practical application and skill building. Teams across the organization create useful and impactful learning opportunities from discussion groups to certification programs and more.

Are key partners in learning. Guest speakers, author visits and peer to peer education sessions provide all employees opportunities to build greater awareness, understanding and connection.

Provides an effective way to develop and grow. Whether informal connections or through our annual mentoring experience for individual contributors, mentoring supports networking, relationship building, professional development and skill building.
