Recognition and Employee Experience

We celebrate heart! An integral part of our culture is built around recognition. Employees and leaders acknowledge outstanding work, contributions, milestones and celebrations through our Heart-to-Heart portal. They participate in fun challenges and award opportunities, too! We also promote a culture of feedback where regular check-in conversations are the norm. Employee experience surveys provide valuable insights to inform decision making and action plans. We also benchmark and partner with other organizations to guide our actions and strategies.

Innovation and Growth

We drive innovation and recognize it’s only possible through learning and continuous improvement. As a results-driven organization, we believe it’s important to set goals. At the start of each year, employees and leaders agree on individual performance goals that align with our overall mission, as well as professional development goals in support of personal effectiveness and career mobility. We implement a mid-year review to check progress and a year-end evaluation to confirm results. We offer many development and growth opportunities for employees and leaders and invest in organizational competencies to support development. Community Focus

We live our mission and give back. Employees receive 12 hours of paid time annually for volunteering and giving back to their communities across the country. Our employees currently contribute to numerous employee giving opportunities as well.

Bringing People Together

Communication and connection are critical, and our internal channels, volunteer opportunities, employee resource groups and quarterly All Staff Meetings are some of the ways we bring people together. Whether office, hybrid or remotely based in their roles, employees have a variety of opportunities to hear leader updates, share what’s on their mind and engage with each other.
