Learning and
Development
At CareSource, we hope to continue developing our talent by providing just the right innovative learning and development experiences for you. You'll be able to participate in thoughtfully organized onboarding experiences, coaching and mentoring programs and useful interpersonal courses. Supervisors at each level will identify your strengths and work with you to expand your skills.
Thorough Onboarding
During your first 90 days, we'll focus on welcoming you and making you feel comfortable. You'll start by meeting with your hiring manager. Next, you'll participate in an orientation session (currently virtual) where you'll learn about our vision, structure, leadership team, business model and culture. Your specific department will provide the job training you need. Be sure to be on the lookout for feedback surveys throughout your first year; we'll invite you to share your thoughts on your experience so we'll know exactly what you found helpful and what we can improve.
Job-Specific Training
To help you succeed at CareSource, we offer virtual and self-paced training and development courses within each career area. Whether you're in clinical operations, customer care or claims, you'll be inspired by courses that are led by our Talent Development team. You'll also get the support you need to feel confident to move ahead.
Career Development
You and your manager will work together to set performance and professional goals with your growth in mind. You and our leaders will continue to discuss your progress and develop skills for your continued development. They may recommend other internal and external learning and development programs, mentoring opportunities, stretch assignments and even taking on more responsibility.
Leadership Programs
CareSource continues to evolve our leadership development, mentoring and coaching programs. All newly hired or promoted executives and directors are offered one-on-one coaching, and managers and team leads participate in group coaching. Topics include effective leadership communication, recognizing and motivating employees, leading change, matrix and performance management and more. Strength-based and strategy-focused coaching is provided internally by an ICF-certified coach. We offer succession and transition coaching. Leaders and individual contributors are also encouraged to participate in local leadership programs, courses and workshops.
