Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, CareSource administers Medicare, Medicaid and Marketplace plans. Thanks to the contributions of a dedicated team of professionals, we've developed several industry-leading programs that improve the health and well-being of our members. We've also developed a culture where our employees feel safe, included and motivated to successfully take us into the future.

We give back to our communities through the CareSource Foundation®, which has granted more than $21 million to organizations since 2006. In 2020 alone, we contributed in a variety of ways. Here are just a few:
- 451 employees volunteered 15,659 hours of their time
- 350,426 lbs. of food were donated
- 1,172 gifts were provided to Toys for Tots
- $502,000 was raised for the United Way
- 18 scholarships were awarded to students
