Data Governance Practice Lead III

Job Summary:

The Data Governance Practice Lead III develops, implements, and maintains Enterprise Data Governance Value Stream road maps, strategic and tactical plans in alignment with the overarching Enterprise Data Governance program.

Essential Functions:

  • Accountable for the successful delivery the assigned Enterprise Data Governance Value Stream
  • Work with appropriate business stakeholders and data steward communities to continuously evaluate, improve and maintain CareSource’s data governance and management practices
  • Work with appropriate business stakeholders and data steward communities to support, improve and maintain data veracity
  • Provide input to data policy and standards; data governance and management priorities; change management strategies and communication plans; and to the future composition, direction and roles of the data governance program and organizational framework
  • Lead and mentor appropriate business stakeholders and data steward communities in data management and governance activities
  • Align data governance and management activities to facilitate data-driven decision making across the enterprise
  • Socialize the value of the Data Governance and Management programs including benefits for stakeholders; rules for engagement; and the enforcement of data policies and standards with operational procedures and governed solutions
  • Maintain expert knowledge of data governance practices, concepts and emerging related technologies and concepts
  • Interact frequently with Senior Leadership across the enterprise to enable and implement effective data governance best practices; including Markets and Product Groups, Operations, Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, Compliance, Finance and IT
  • Perform any other job related instructions as requested

Education and Experience:

Education:  Requires a Master’s degree in Information Management, Information Systems Management, related field, or foreign equivalent.

Experience: Three (3) years of experience as an Information Technology Consultant leading the development of data analytics and intelligence dashboards and establishing data governance and management policies.

Travel: Candidate can work remotely from anywhere in the United States

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Compensation Range:
$90,500.00 - $158,400.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
