Internal Communications Manager

Job Summary:

The Internal Communications Manager is responsible for providing communication planning and development support for various organizational and functional Human Resources initiatives. Provides strategic project-based communications planning by partnering closely with business partners, stakeholders and business leaders.

Essential Functions:

  • Partner closely with Internal Communications team and cross-functional leaders and departments to develop and deliver internal employee communications plans, messaging, and collateral, which promote our business priorities and drive employee engagement
  • Work independently to create and execute timely and effective enterprise-wide communications strategies
  • Manage communication calendars and channels, including the distribution of communications through a variety of channels, including intranet posts and email
  • Ensure all communications are developed on time and in accordance with brand and functional guidelines
  • Build relationships and provide consultation and strategic communications guidance and support to key internal stakeholders
  • Conduct regular evaluation of internal communication strategies and provide ongoing feedback and recommendations for improvements
  • Collaborate and maintain strong partnerships with cross-functional teams
  • Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, organizational communications or journalism or related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
  • A minimum of five to seven (5-7) years of corporate or internal communications experience is required
  • Experience in communication strategy development, implementation, and management of multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment is required

Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advance proficiency in Microsoft Office and intermediate to advanced proficiency in SharePoint
  • Poppulo experience preferred
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate and interact with all organizational levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of professionalism
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Strong understanding of human resources management principles, practices, and procedures
  • Ability to innovate and adapt communication strategies to meet evolving organizational needs
  • Strong project and time management skills and strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent attention to detail, listening, planning, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive or proprietary information and act in the company’s best interest

Compensation Range:
$79,800.00 - $127,600.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
