Audit Lead

Job Summary:

The Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) Audit Lead assists with promoting project portfolio management, practices, roles and responsibility across the enterprise.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide support to Project Managers during the planning phase
  • Audit team deliverables and processes to ensure compliance with department methodology
  • Responsible for assessing and evaluating risk, addressing audit issues, and executing proactive compliance monitoring
  • Report issues to the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) Governance lead to ensure the continuous refinement and improvement of the project delivery governance life cycle
  • Monitor Program/project risk management practices, change control practices, requirements management practices, project closure practices, project management practices, reporting, and project budgeting practices to ensure compliance
  • Provide support to Manager EPMO Governance
  • Lead peer reviews to enhance the quality and consistency of project deliverables
  • Participate and contribute to EPMO groups including COE’s, COP’s, and committees
  • Assist with rapid resolution or escalation of issues and blockers
  • Encourage adherence to and track and monitor the project delivery governance policies, procedures, and standards
  • Encourage adherence to and track and monitor the utilization of EPMO templates & reports
  • Assist with the continuous improvement of project management best practices, processes, and tools
  • Monitoring compliance of standards, policies, processes, procedures and templates by means of project audits and quality management
  • Provide coaching on project management processes
  • Assure the management and control of scope and change
  • Assist with driving maturity based upon maturity roadmap
  • Integrate continuous improvement and innovation into all projects
  • Maintain knowledge of the company’s regulatory environment and how it is applicable to project processes and tools
  • Prepare presentations, reports, briefing materials and other deliverables
  • Perform any other job related instructions, as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent years of relevant experience is required
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in/ supporting a project management office is required
  • Experience working in Project Management software required
  • Familiarity of the healthcare field and knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare is preferred
